Cayuse Campground — Located 19 miles north of Cle Elum on Salmon la Sac road, is a developed stock (horse, llama, goat etc) campground, occupants must be accompanied by stock to use this 14 site campground. Limit 3 horses per site. Corrals, hitch rails, potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Forage is not available. Certified weed free feed is required.  Six campsites are first come first serve, the remaining eight are available by reservation at recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
Customers must have livestock in order to utilize the campground; Customers without livestock will not be allowed access. The definition of livestock is either a Horse or a Pack Animal.
A fee of 8$ for extra vehicles (2nd vehicle for single sites, 3rd and 4th vehicles for double sites) will be collected at the campground. Additional vehicles are not allowed if it can not fit on the parking pad. The horse trailer is not considered a second vehicle.

From I90 eastbound from Snoqualmie pass, take Roslyn/Ronald exit.  At top sign turn left on HWY 903.

From Cle Elum, WA take HWY 903 North for 17 miles past Lake Cle Elum.

The campground entrance is on the right before the entrance to Salmon La Sac.

Recommend Green Trails map (Kachess Lake, Wash. No 208).

  Ride to Jolly mountain pass via Paris creek for loop ride.

Waptus River trail is beautiful.  Cooper lake trail easy grade along Cooper river.

Pollalie Ridge trail to Diamond lake, loops back down to Cooper Lake via Tired creek trail.
